Firstly after reading a recent bad review on here I was worried as to what we'd booked but we found the property easily and parked around the corner in a... read more side street . A little shop nearby sells everything you might need but coffee/tea/sugar were all supplied .
The apartments are so quiet and perfectly placed . Lots of places to eat and things to do nearby .
The apartment is in an old building so don't expect ultra modern but it's very tastefully done and we found it comfortable and spacious, and the owner was really helpful and replied straight away when contacted , thank you . We will return More

Lovely apartment, beautifully fitted out & decorated.
Right in the centre of town so bars, restaurants & HIC all within an easy walk.
Great kitchen facilities if I'd had time... read more to cook.

Looking for somewhere to stop for a few days while travelling down to London, I came across Royal Parade. We took the Royale Apartment for 3 nights. Arrangements to collect... read more the key were easy (code to access the main door & a code for the key box outside the apartment were emailed in advance). The apartment was really well appointed and stylish. Right in the centre of the action with great pub and eating options near by. We had breakfast in Hoxton North and drinks at the Fat Badger in the White Heart Hotel just around the corner - both excellent. You are just beside the Valley Gardens and if you fancy a walk can easily get to the RHS Garden Harlow Carr. Would stay again if in Harrogate More

The decor charming and creative. I admit we thought the bed looked rather small compared to what we are used to, but our concerns were unnecessary as we slept very well. The apartment was comfy and we settled in like it was home. If I have one gripe it's the fact the Smart TV doesn't appear to have been tuned in properly, and I couldn't work out how to do it. Most of the Freeview channels were missing, and to use Netflix or Amazon Prime would have meant registering the TV in my name, which I was not prepared to do. Yes, we could have contacted the owners to sort it out, but we were only there 2 nights and wanted privacy. But as far as I'm concerned it's a no-brainer. Hotel or Royal Parade Apartments? Word of advice if arriving my train. If you want to take a taxi to the apartments don't let the taxi drivers tell you it's not worth it, to just walk. They gave us a misleading idea of how close the station is to Royal Parade. And oddly despite going into The Ivy and other shops, no one seemed to know where Royal Parade was. Yet, once found, it's not difficult at all. It's truly not that far from the train station, but if you don't know where you're going you don't need to be misled by a taxi driver.
Please do not hesitate to book if you like a decent sized space, and the joy of having your own kitchen to use when you wish, and prefer to not waste a huge sum of money on a hotel. Also, the huge bonus in these Covid times is having your own apartment rather than sharing space with lots of strangers especially at breakfast time.
